Programs

Opportunities for Broome provides a wide range of services and programs for low-income, disadvantaged, and marginalized individuals and families. The Agency’s Family Development Program empowers people. Family Advocate’s help people in need of emergency services such as food, shelter, medicine, transportation, and heat.  They screens applicants for the Home Energy Assistance Program, (H.E.A.P), which helps people pay their energy bills during the winter months. 

The Agency’s Head Start Program is an early childhood development program dedicated to empowering families become more self-reliant. OFB’s five rural Head Start Children’s Centers are licensed to provide day-care and after school care for children as well.

OFB’s Housing Program is a HUD certified Community Housing and Development Organization, that provides people with decent, safe, and affordable housing.
